Antonio Amendola

With a legal background, an expertise in international law and new media and communication law and extended experience in intl institutions start up and intl diplomatic negotiations Antonio Amendola joined AT&T ( in the role of executive director of international external affairs) from the Italian Government where he acted as senior advisor to the Secretary of State of Economic Development. Prior to this Antonio spent 15 years at AGCOM, the Italian Communication Authority, where he held several roles including senior advisor to the executive leadership on policy, media regulation and regulatory matters. As an expert on cybersecurity, privacy, data protection and cross border data flow, he leads the advocacy and the regulatory activities with regards to EU legislators and national Regulators. He has been a media law visiting professor at Rome University, La Sapienza, Faculty of Communication Science
