Mamoudou Niane

Mamoudou Niane is a member of the Law Faculty and a Professor at Gaston Berger University in Senegal. He teaches in the field of the protection of privacy, intellectual property, cyberspace law and the theory of law.
Mr Niane took part in drawing up the Law on the Information Society and the Press in Senegal. He took up the post of Director of Legal Affairs of the Supervisory Authority in 2016. As well as being a member of several technical committees dealing with personal data protection and cybersecurity, he is currently carrying out research on digital law, in particular on digital identity and on harmonisation models for privacy protection systems.
