Kabir Barday is a Fellow of Information Privacy (FIP), a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP US/E, CIPM, CIPT), and Chief Executive Officer of OneTrust. Since founding the company, Barday has led OneTrust to significant growth achievements and unprecedented multi-national performance in the privacy risk management and compliance sector. The enterprise privacy management software is used by more than 1,500 global organizations, including 200 of the Global 2,000, to comply with data privacy regulations across sectors and jurisdictions. An additional 7,000 organizations use OneTrust’s technology through a partnership with the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP), the world’s largest global information privacy community. Known throughout the industry as a strategic thinker and innovator, Barday created the OneTrust software platform with the growing regulatory environment in mind. Barday oversees all aspects of OneTrust’s product development, operations, and sales, and is the driving force behind the business’ impressive international expansion. Prior to OneTrust, Barday served as Director of Product Management at AirWatch, which was acquired by VMware in 2014 for $1.54B. The company now serves more than 20,000 global customers and is recognized as the undisputed market leader in mobility management. While at AirWatch, Barday received the HP-IAPP’s Most Innovative Privacy Technology Award after launching the Privacy First program. Privacy First, an initiative incorporated into every facet of the AirWatch Enterprise Mobility Management platform, informs product features and helps organizations comply with privacy principles while providing transparency, access, and choice to end users. Barday is an award-winning privacy expert and frequently speaks at leading industry events such as the IAPP Global Privacy Summit, RSA Conference, and Infosecurity Europe. He holds a B.S. in Computer Science with a concentration in Networking and Devices and Entrepreneurship from Georgia Institute of Technology, where he also served as Student Center President.
